Our Story

We could have never imagined that our passion for wildlife and nature would have brought us to where we are today. Opening our first store in 1990, Mother Nature’s Wildlife Art, followed in 1992 by opening Cabin Fever. Our love of nature inspired us to bring “lodge to the lake” and create a place where others could come, explore and bring elements of the great outdoors into their homes. We were the first company to introduce rustic mountain furnishings and decor to the Lake Tahoe Area. Our designs have evolved over the last 20 years, but our customers’ appreciation and enjoyment of what we offer remains strong.   We thank you for shopping small and supporting independent local businesses.
